Student must be 6 years of age or older and be able to participate in an all day lesson without emotional upset.

Students younger than 6 who may need a slower introduction to skiing are recommended to take our Parent-Pal classes, which are only a half-day and are built around including a parent or guardian in the learning process.

At level 1, students are becoming comfortable on their skis and learning the basics of a stop on a small incline. We do not have a ‘Magic Carpet’ at our ski school, so they will also learn edge control and how to navigate small inclines without mechanical assistance. This simple skill, we take for granted, helps them later with turns and stops.

This is an all-day class. This class includes an all-day unrestricted lift ticket.

Rentals are not included.

Arrival time is 9:30-9:45. Any arrivals after this time are considered late. Classes begin 10:00am and run until 12pm. There is a 1 hour lunch break at 12pm, which parents are required to supervise their children during.

Classes resume at 1:00pm and last until 3pm.
